Member Vacancies

I would like to thank Ann Duncan (6.1 member – Bedford), Henry Gorfein (6.1 member– Rappahannock), and Robert Goad (6.1 member– Nelson) for their service to the 5th CD, the CD Committee, and the Democratic Party of Virginia. All three have informed me that they are stepping down from membership on the 5th CD Committee. I expect that all of them are still staying active, and I look forward to seeing them at events.

An election will be held by current members of the 5th Congressional District Committee to fill the three vacancies (2 men and 1 woman, with no more than one from each of the three counties) to complete the terms through May 30, 2021. The vote will be held at 10:45 a.m. immediately preceding the Quarter 4 DPVA Central Committee Meeting, Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 in Richmond VA.
